Cleaning flexo printing plates at the end of a job is a common practice among printers the world over. This operation is often performed manually, using harsh solvents that dissolve ink but, over time, deteriorate the elastomer from which the precious plates are made. To avoid the risk of damaging the fine points, manual brushing cannot apply constant pressure, with the result that it does not clean shades deeply.
The machines in this series use non-aggressive liquids and various brushes that ensure gentle but effective cleaning at a much higher speed than other systems. With a width from 450 mm to 1,200 mm, this series is capable of washing printing plates in any and all formats currently used.
